OUR JOURNEY

Leigh (Stompy) & Mike (Eazyvibe) have been dear friends for over 25 years, both coming from the Luton & Dunstable area in the south east of England. Their love of music and in particular Hardcore and Old Skool goes all the way back to the early 90's at the very beginning of the rave generation.  Their passion for the music and parties quickly steered them towards becoming DJ and Artists themselves. It was Stompy who dived in head first and with help of the mighty Bradley Carter produced his very first hardcore track in early 1996. It was released on the massive Fusion Label which also ran one of the most successful rave nights in the country. Stompy was hooked from day one and went on to produce over 10 releases for Fusion & Hectic Records. It would be owner Chris Grayston who would book him for his very first DJ gig.

He would go on to produce over 40 records include the timeless classics " Come & Follow me " with Dj Flyin and the crowd pleaser " I Believe ". He would work alongside such hardcore legends as Seduction, Breeze, Ufo & Supreme and have releases on labels such as Essential Platinum and Slammin Vinyl. He went on to co own and run the highly successful record label " New Era Records ". His tracks would also feature on the biggest hardcore compilations of the time such as Bonkers, HTID & Slammin Vinyl.

Stompy found similar success with his DJ'ing career and played alongside his Heroes at events like Slammin Vinyl, Helter Skelter, Dreamscape and Hardcore Heaven aswell as a weekly residency at the legendary Labyrinth club in London. He also enjoyed some amazing international travel to the US (KOTC for Life) , Japan, Australia and Canada where he continued to spread the hardcore sound. He met some amazing people and made some great friends.

Eazyvibe would accompany Stompy to most of his Gigs and even traveled to America and Australia to experience the scene with him overseas. He is a amazing DJ in his own right with incredible skills both on Vinyl and CD. Two of his biggest influences growing up were DJ's SY & Hype and he soon learnt to scratch just as impeccably and something his still loves to implement in his sets today. Eazyvibe also enjoyed success DJ'ing alongside such greats as Slipmatt & Force & Styles as well as appearing at events like Happy Dayz, Rave Logic, London Sounds and Epidemic in 2019. He is super passionate about music and a awesome producer and all round great guy who just loves to DJ and rock any party. Eazyvibe also loves to DJ Old Skool and would be a worthy edition to any Old Skool Lineup 

Like many other DJ's of the era, We took an extended break from the scene we loved but thanks to long term friend and Hardcore Superstar DJ Al Storm alongside his right hand man and super producers ROB IYF, Bananman, Euphony , Zetamale & Eufeion we have found our passion once more. We have both been signed to the awesome 24/7 Hardcore label and cant wait to see what lies ahead.  We have had a lot of catching up to do but now feel ready as accomplished producers and artists to introduce our music and DJ'ing prowess to the world once more.

We are actively looking for DJ Bookings and after a successful year playing at event like Rave Logic, Rave/247, Epidemic and London Sounds we are hungry for more and would love the opportunity to play for promoters old and new. It has been a pleasure playing alongside the next generation of hardcore DJ'S such as Rise & Ectomorph and catching up with some of the older greats such as UFO, Vibes, Euphony & Scar as well as MC's new and old. We both have so many amazing memories of the scene back in the day and cant wait to make many, many more.
